MISS BABS & the Kickin’ Boogie Band open for Bryan White at Wetbury Music Fare
Miss Babs and the Kickin’ Boogie Band kicked up some fine boogie when they fired up the crowd as the opening act for Asylum recording artist Bryan White at the Westbury Music Fair on September 24th. The New York City grit and southern charm of Babs Winn and her sophisticated blend of country, rockabilly, swing, and blues got the crowd on its feet long before Bryan hit the stage. The Long Island audience, country music fans of all ages, loved the show.
Well known to the New York country music and club circuit, this was MISS BABS & the Kickin’ Boogie Band’s first appearance at the Long Island music stage. Almost all of the songs on this incredible new CD are original compositions and is a must for any country music collection. In the trailer after the show, Bryan White wrapped his arm around Miss Babs and commented, “Great show, great show!”
